EPIC Refresh was built from a lifelong commitment to service.

After more than nine years—nearly a decade—serving in the United States Marine Corps, our founder returned home to North County San Diego ready to begin a new chapter centered around faith, family and community.

During his military service, he maintained, repaired and troubleshot complex avionics systems aboard helicopters. That work demanded discipline, technical precision, attention to detail and the ability to solve difficult problems when failure was not an option.

After leaving the Marine Corps, he continued supporting our nation as a systems engineer working with military radio systems. But alongside that career, another passion was beginning to grow: helping local homeowners improve, protect and enjoy their properties.

What started as part-time work quickly became something more meaningful. Every completed project, every conversation with a neighbor and every opportunity to improve a local home made the mission clearer.

That part-time passion became a full-time commitment—and EPIC Refresh was born.

Today, our primary focus is helping North County homeowners transform their properties with professionally installed permanent exterior lighting.

These lighting systems are designed to become part of the home, giving families the ability to create beautiful lighting for holidays, celebrations, special occasions and everyday curb appeal—without repeatedly hanging and removing temporary lights.

For us, permanent lighting is about more than changing colors from an app. It is about helping families create memorable moments, feel proud of their homes and enjoy their outdoor spaces throughout the year.

Every installation is approached with the same care and technical mindset developed through years of working on mission-critical systems: plan carefully, install cleanly, test thoroughly and treat every detail as important.
